General notes
A translation, sometimes attributed to John Howell, of "Briève relation de la vie de Christine reyne de Suède", and "Le génie de la reyne Christine de Suède" "Briève relation de la vie de Christine" is erroneously attributed to Urbain Chevreau, secretary to Kristina in the early 1650's, by Halkett & Laing and Wing; NUC attributes the work to Gregorio Leti on the grounds that "a version with title: L'adieu des franc̜ois à la Suède, is in his Le portrait et la vie secrette de la reine Christine de Suède." "Le génie de la reyne Christine de Suède" is erroneously attributed to Urbain Chevreau, and was apparently written by a Mr. Saint-Maurice, as a vengeful satire against Kristina (cf. Barbier) The words "resignation ... journey to Rome." are bracketed together on title page The last leaf is blank Annotation on Thomason copy: "March 26"
