In French Prepared for the education of Louis Alexandre de Bourbon, comte de Toulouse, the legitimized son of Louis XIV, King of France, and his mistress Madame de Montespan. A marginal note on p. 3 (the first page of the text) states that "Ce Mémoire a été donné à Mr. le C[om]te de Pons pau M. le Comte de Charolois comme ayant été fait au temps de l'Education de M. le Comte de Toulouse pous lui serviu de regle et après avois été approuvé de Louis XIV."
