1-3, 3-99 p In Italian Daniel Barbaro was the Venetian ambassador to England between 1547 and 1551 Written in italic script with many near contemporary corrections and notes in two hands First printed as Relazione dell'illustrissimo Daniel Barbaro, in London, 1796. The Folger manuscript fills in some of the lacunae missing in the printed version. Other manuscript copies held at The Bancroft Library (f BANC MS UCB 57) and the Special Collections in the E.S. Bird Library at Syracuse University (Ranke Manuscript 252). Also according to dealer description at least ten other manuscript copies exist, five in England, four in France and one in Italy Title from caption on p. 1: Relat[io]ni d'Inghilt[err]a di M.
