Contains medical and veterinary receipts, many for colic (leaves 2r, 4v-26v), diagrams for weaving with notes, some in shorthand (leaves 58-90), and instructions for making black, red and orange dyes (leaf 72v). Patterns include "star dimont," "a satin net," "duch huckerback" and "a small barley corn." Receipt on leaf 12 attributed to Mary Rose and receipt on leaf 13 attributed to Dr. Orme. Also includes Bathings family birth dates, 1676-1744 (2v-4r), an anti-marriage poem/song (53-54r) and a printed almanac, Riders (1678) British Merlin, Wing A2253 (leaves 27-52, with leaves 36, 41, 44 being interleaved blanks with manuscript notes)
