Early manuscript notes in brown ink, marks, brackets, manicules, underlining, and a few drawings; a few corrections in text and filling of unevenly printed letters in same ink; signature, lacking on leaf c2r, has been added by hand in another ink. Inscriptions "Marchionj Badensj, primogenito", and "321" in brown ink on title page; in margins of dedicatory letter to Jakob, Margrave of Baden (1471-1511) and of the "Endecasyllabon ad Germaniam" at end of the book, several notes, the last one reading "Dño meo marchionj"; underlining in red ink on t.p., and addition in same ink of "2c[us][?]" at end of the inscription of the name of the dedicatee; inscription on front flyleaf "H.C. Hoskier Dec. 1902" (no. 245 in the Sotheby sale catalog of his library, June 1908); his provenance and binding prices (?) have been erased. In a half morocco binding (Bradstreet). Bookplate of W.T. Smedley; purchased in 1924
