Summary
Includes many poems in Latin and Greek, Sheridan's monody on Garrick, notes of lectures given by Dr. Foster and [George?] Stinton, and the fingering for some wind instrument. Butler was a pupil at Eton, 1767-1772; many of the poems, including several by "Butler," are in Musae Etonenses. Dr. Foster was upper master there, 1765-1773, and Graham Jepson, one of the dedicatees, an assistant master, 1767-1770. One poem by Johnson removed and catalogued separately as Y.d.351. Also later additions, ca. 1815
