(2) A satiric song in rhyming couplets concerning a return to England from France; beginning, "From Paris I'm come..."(3 p.). (3) A narrative satire on Francis Bagg, stage manager of Norwich Theater, beginning "The fault breth'ren" (16 p.); numerous corrections and erasures. (4) A draft of a prose piece entitled "Five Minute Pause. Before forming rash decisions on Provincial Performances" (8 p.); defense of provincial theaters (Bath and Norwich are cited) as well-suited training grounds for actors aspiring to the London stage. (5) A prose essay entitled "A Short Pause before forming a rash decision on Provincial Actors" (20 p.). (6) An incomplete prose satire giving an account of a meeting with the "Marquis of Fiddle-dum-dee"; Ends with a reference to Shakespeare: "Wild Warwickshire Bard...he died plebian, yet in the minds of his enlighten'd Countrymen is justly deify'd" (2 p.). (7) Notes on a line from Macbeth: "He unseam'd him from the Nave to the Chops"; commenting critically on the published notes of one of the Shakespeare editors identified as solely "The Bishop" (Warburton?)
