The engraving is usually dated 1822 and noted as being engraved by R. Cooper. It was published as a plate to Tallis's dramatic magazine Provenance: Item is housed before p. 315 in volume 12 of a 21 volume extra illustrated copy of the 1857 edition of Shakespeare's Works, edited by Dyce and formerly owned by Robert Hoe.
