Summary
Most of the letters discuss phrenology; in one (p. 77) he says Shakespeare would have done better if he had possessed a knowledge of the philosophy of the mind. Several discuss Kemble's interpretation of Juliet, her Francis I and her success as a dramatic author. (p. 87) has a note added by his wife, Cecilia.
