[10], 134, [5] leaves Manuscript title page: Modus tenendi parliam[en]tum apud Anglos. Of the forme, and all things incident thereunto digested and diuided into sundrie Chapters, and Titles by Henry Ellsinge Esqr. Clerke of the Parliam[en]t and by him presented to the Right honorable Thomas Lord Couentry, Lord Keeper of the greate Seale of England in the Second yeare of the raigne of our Soueraigne Lord Kinge Charles &c. Anno Domini 1626 Elsynge's text was left unfinished at his death, although the first part was completed in May 1625, which accounts for the date cited on the title page of this copy. The complete work was not published until 1660, and then in a more accurate edition by Thomas Tyrwhitt in 1768 Inscription on title page: Robt.
