At head of title: Selden society Latin text with English translation on opposite pages numbered in duplicate "The text of this volume consists for the most part of extracts from the eyre rolls of the tenth year of the reign of John and of the latter half of the reign of Henry III. The rest consists of forest inquisitions, upon which some of the eyre rolls printed in this volume were based, some perambulations of the reign of Edward I. and a few other miscellaneous documents. The mss. relating to Essex (pp. 69-74) are in the British museum; all the others are in the Public record office."--Pref
