Payment authorized by Lord Hyde, John Ernle, and Edward Dering, addresed to Sir Robert Howard, Auditor of his Majesty's Receipt of Exchequer. Order to pay Philip Parker £185, 4 shillings, 6 pence owed for the upkeep of the gardens at Whitehall, to then be paid over from Parker to William Wayte, Keeper of the garden "for wages and disbursements for keeping the said Garden and the Fountaine Garden and alsoe for cleaning [th]e Long Stone Gallery within [th]e said Pallace for halfe a yeare ended at Mich[aelm]as 1680."
