Explaining the structure, nature and quality of many plants, which are used as remedies against the bites of poisonous snakes, scorpions, etc., with 71 hand-colored printed woodcuts and original watercolor drawings. Illustrations are of plants and fungi, as well as a watercolor of snakes (after text leaf 4), a watercolor of a black bear climbing a tree trying to get to a bee hive, along with a man-made hive, a jar of honey and a wheel of wax (after text leaf 72), and a few drawings of seals or coins (after text leaf 3, after text leaf 4, text leaf 5v)
