Summary
William and Mary, seated, wearing crowns and carrying scepters under a tasselled damask canopy. William's left hand rests on a globe turned so that "Scotia", "Anglia", "Hibernia", "Gallia" and "Belgium" are visible, with the sea in between those countries labeled "Liberanda Libera." Five men are approaching the king and queen from their right, two dressed as clergy and one dressed as a gentleman. Behind them a portion of the city of London, including the Banqueting House, is visible. In a border beneath this entire scene, former kings are depicted in bas relief. A large coat of arms rests in the middle, covering up much of the border and some of the scene
