Summary
Manuscript orchestral part books containing music composed by Gustav Lüders, Windsor Theatre, Chicago. Dona Sol, the play for which this music was intended, appears to be an adaptation or version of Victor Hugo's Hernani. Part books contain 22 numbered items, including curtain tunes and an textless piece entitled "Jehovah, my saviour." The latter work appears on loose leaves in each part-book. An annotation in the cello and bass part is dated 1888-1889
