Summary
Set of manuscript orchestral part books. The part books contain 15 numbered items, including curtain tunes, barcarolles and marches. Some part-books include one or more additional manuscript pieces: "Mask dance," "Fair maiden of Seville" (by Alphons Czibulka and arranged by Theodore Moses Tobani), "Ballet music," and "Turkish ofal." The "Corni" part-book concludes with a printed march, "Georgia sunset" by Albert W. Brown, arranged by J. Bodewalt Lampe. (12), an unnamed part-book, contains manuscript copies of another set of first violin parts and underlaid soprano and bass parts for the song "Come my love" as well as a second bass part for an "Evening song," the text underly of which begins "The twilight shades fast descending." (13), the "Conductor" book, consists of a manuscript score for flute and first violin of item number five as well as printed keyboard scores of "The original lancers" arranged by William Dressler and of the song and chorus "When you ain't got no money" by Alfred B. Sloane
