Lord Rich, his uncle Richard Rich and Robert Wright objected to Barwick's sermon on the observance of the Queen's accession day as a "holy day" and an altercation broke out between them John Nicholson, John Bonde and Barnabas Turner were clerks and vicars in Rochdale Hundred Depositions taken by "Mr. Wardall, clerk, Mr. Berrima[n], cleark and Mr. Barwick [par]son, by virtue of a c[om]mandement sent them from the B[ishop] of london & other his associats." 1 bifolium Endorsed: Depositions of Barwicke
