Actor depicted wearing fantastical armor, face painted like a clown. Laurent could be either Jean-Baptiste Laurent, 1763-1822, or Philippe Laurent, 1801-1872, who were both known for playing Harlequins (see Highfill, Biographical dictionary of actors, for more information)
