Gervaise Carrington, clerk v. Edward Smith, vicar of Stone. The Borough of Warwick, having the patronage of the rectory of Chaddesley by right of a grant from Henry VIII, claimed Stone as a dependency. Carrington had received a grant of the presentation to the Church of Stone from the Lord Chancellor. Includes a terrier of November 26, 1585
