Imperfect: wanting the title page; in its place is the title page from the 1669 edition. On large paper, except for sheets 2C, 2H, 2L, 2Q, and 2R, which measure 30 cm untrimmed, in comparison to 32 cm trimmed for the rest of the volume. Autographs: "Hannah Flatman 1674" [presumably the wife of Thomas Flatman, who contributed a pindarick ode (e2-f1)]; "Frank Flatman" [possibly their daughter Franck, according to The life and uncollected poems of Thomas Flatman by F.A. Child, 1921]. A few pencilled scribbles, as from a child. Ruled in red. In a red goatskin binding, gold-tooled, marbled endleaves, edges gilt ("cottage-roof" style binding). Acquired from Quaritch (2015/5:85) 2015-09-02. Bookseller descriptions of this copy and other editions in the curatorial file
