Consists of several batches of numbered extracts from poems and dramatic works: miscellaneous extracts (leaves 14-17v) includes an epitaph on Dr. Donne (leaf 15v), an excerpt from Thomas Carew's poem to King Charles (leaf 16r); poems by Thomas Randolph (leaves 18-25v); poems "written vpon Thom: Randolph" and "vpon Dr. Dunne" (leaves 25v-29r), many with attributions noted; poems by Edmund Waller (leaves 29r-32v); poems by Ben Jonson (leaves 33r-34v); poems in late-18th century hand (leaf 35); a section consisting of poems by William Browne and dramatic excerpts (leaves 37r-38r); extracts from Robert Farley's Kalendarium humanae vitae (mistakenly identified as "Joannes Farleus") (leaves 38v-40v); 3 numbered sequences of epigrams (some incomplete), including some attributed to Euseby Andrewes (leaves 40v, 43r-44r); extracts chiefly from Richard Fanshawe's translation of Baptista Guarini's Pastor fido (The faithfull shepherd) (leaves 44v-50r); and a sequence of dramatic extracts from George Chapman, Philip Massinger, John Ford, Thomas Goffe, Fulke Greville, Thomas Middleton, John Marston, Shakespeare and others (leaves 51r-52v)
