Summary
Promptbook annotated by Catherine Sibley, Max Reinhardt's assistant, for Reinhardt's stage production of A midsummer night's dream, which toured California in 1934. The show opened at the Hollywood Bowl on September 17th, 1934, and continued on to the San Francisco Opera House and the University of California at Berkeley. Following the success of the production, Reinhardt produced a film version, which was released in 1935
