Title devised by cataloger
Illustrations were designed for an edition of Lamb's Tales, copyrighted 1918. Cardboard mount has "King Lear" written in the top right corner. The illustration is of Edgar, and the three initials feature a fairy, a woman, and a man. Initial letters do not necessarily illustrate scenes from Lear
