Illustrations were designed for an edition of Lamb's Tales, copyrighted 1918. Cardboard mount has "Othello, the Moor of Venice" written in the top center. The illustrations depict Desdemona praying; Cassio; and Iago. The three initials depict a man with a sword; a courtyard; and a woman reading a letter. Initial letters do not necessarily illustrate scenes from Othello
