Title derived from penned note beneath image
Illustration was designed for an edition of Lamb's Tales, copyrighted 1918. Depicts Katherina breaking a lute over the head of Hortensio. On the verso is an additional pencil sketch of a woman, with the note "[Mar]iana betrothed to Angelo."
