Includes a few printed poems used for celebrations in Detroit. One printed poem is the prologue to the "Tricentennial Shakespearean anniversary", Detroit, April 23, 1864. Though many of the poems are dated (1830-1865), many certainly are and all may be later copies. Inscribed on a fly-leaf: "To my son, James W. Romeyn, February 22, 1880. Theodore Romeyn. Detroit"
