Artist: Rosset-Granger is noted in Benezit and Thieme-Becker as a painter of genre subjects, portraits and decorations. His name is given variously as Paul Edouard, Edouard and Edouard (Paul). An example of his signature, given in Benezit, varies from the signature found on this work.
