Title from caption, page [1] Another edition has "discoursed" in title Addressed "To His Highnesse, Oliver Cromwell." In fact by Edward Sexby and Silius Titus. William Allen, who served in Cromwell's regiment (as did Sexby), appears as the author of this pamphlet, although Sexby and Titus were actually the joint authors. At various times Sexby and Titus both claimed sole authorship; however C.H. Firth credits both men with authorship of the pamphlet. See C.H.
