An edition offered by subscription either in 16 numbered parts or in 8 volumes The first Boston edition, probably edited by David Francis. There were two subsequent editions in 1807 and 1810-1812 (Jaggard p. 508). W.W. Clapp in his record of the Boston Stage, 1853, says "The notes were rewritten and condensed by Mr. Munroe from an English edition and subsequently adapted by several publishers."
