General notes
"Printed by Jonathan E. Finegold at the New Albion Press, on an old Hopkinson & Cope Albion handpress, in commemoration of the four hundredth anniversary of the first printing of Shakespeare's Sonnets and the one hundredth anniversary of the edition printed by T.J. Cobden-Sanderson at the Doves Press. The text is set in the Doves Type, created by Emery Walker and cut by Edward Prince for the use of the Doves Press, and revived in modern times by Torbjörn Olsson. The printer has presumed to edit the text so as to update its spelling and punctuation ... Initial capital after that designed by Edward Johnston for the Doves Press edition. Seventy-five signed and numbered copies were printed on Zerkall Ingres paper, and twenty-six specially-bound copies, signed and lettered A through Z, were printed in handmade Twinrocker paper, with all paper dampened and inking done by hand. Binding by Coriander Reisbord. Plates by Richard Seibert. Presswork assistance by René Medina and Catherine Janicke."--Colophon Headings for each sonnet printed in red, blue, or purple
