Imperfect: Poems only. Manuscript ink note pasted to front wrapper: "I bought the copy of Shakespeare's Poems & Sonnets for 6d at old Westall's book-stall in Rockdale during my apprenticeship. The book was a great favourite with me and I sometimes carried it about with me ... the Sonnets had such a charm for me at that time, that I wrote a prose version of each of the first seven sonnets on the margin of the book.
