"The text for this edition of Mr. William Shakespeare's play is from the first folio printing in 1623 with few liberties. 14 pt. Dante types set by M & W Bixler. Rain [i.e. linocut images of rain] cut by Greg Lago. The papers are made by Velma Bolyard, La Papeterie St-Armand, and Barcham Green. Other papers include Arches, Frankfurt & Mexican amate. 125 copies designed, printed, and bound by Mark McMurray"--Colophon According to the Caliban Press announcement of publication, this edition was inspired by Shakespeare's First Folio; Bread & Puppet Theater of Glover, Vermont; John Coltrane's Olé; the film Black Orpheus; and Prospero's library Some illustrations tipped in; relief and airbrushed images, paper cuts and volvelle, all by Mark McMurray Sewn in signatures onto paper tabs cut from handmade paper wrappers. Split board binding with leather spine. Issued in folded paper slipcase
