General notes
Compilation derived principally from the opusculi of St. Francis, from the Speculum perfectionis, from the Actus B. Francisci, from the lives of his associates and attributed to a Hungarian conventual, Frater Fabianus, probably Frater Fabianus de Ingal, provincial minister of the Conventuals of Hungary in the years 1452-1474, who is presumed to have composed it between 1400 and 1443. Cf. M. Bihil, the edition of the Speculum vitae B. Francisci published by Györ and the Hungarian origine of the Speculum vitae, in Archivum franciscanum historicum, xx, 1937, 132-153 Signatures: a-z⁸ [et]⁸ [con]⁸ [rum]⁸ ã⁸ ẽ⁸ ĩ⁸ õ⁸ Imprint from colophon
