The Bishops' version, the translation overseen by Matthew Parker Includes prefatory prologue by Cranmer and the Bishops' and Great Bible versions of the Psalms in parallel columns, preceded by the prologue of Saint Basil. The Great Bible was edited by Cuthbert Tunstall and Nicholas Heath Imprint from colophon In five parts, each with divisional title pages. Foliation is continuous until "The thirde part of the Bible, contayning these bookes", which begins with the Psalms. Foliation begins again at "The volume of the bookes called the Apocrypha" and yet again at "The newe Testament of our sauiour Iesus Christe" Leaf CxC in the second foliation missing in number only Reproduction of the original in the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign Campus).
