Bust, 3/4 right, in high crowned hat, and open lace collar; oval in cartouche with parapet, a barrel at the foot of oval; incidents of the conspiracy (the Gunpowder Plot) in four flat ovals in the spandrils. The oval border around Percy's portrait is embellished with snakes, a chicken or cock, and the heads of dogs--Adapted from Hind
