Title derived from penciled notes on verso of drawing History: Drawing is part of a series of designs done for the 'Darley gallery of Shakespearean illustration' (published in 1884) which was made up of 30 illustrations to Shakespeare's plays. This drawing, however, was never reproduced for the printed edition Provenance: Drawing is listed as no. 465 in Henkel's Jan 1909 sale catalog.
