Also known as
Extended title: An equal ballance : wherein the ministers and churches of the Anabaptists (so called) are truly weighed: and by a just and lawful tryal (according to their own confession, whereunto the Scripture of truth bears witness) they are fully proved, and clearly manifested to be neither ministers nor churches of Jesus Christ, but in very many particulars they appear in a great measure to differ from them. ... Being an answer to a libel published by (or in the behalf of) Thomas Collier, entituled, The hypocrisie and falshood of Thomas Salthouse discovered, a noted Quaker; in vindication of a former book written by Thomas Collier. Wherein he hath falsly and wickedly affirmed, that the ministers and churches of the Anabaptists (so called) are, and may be ministers and churches of Jesus Christ, and their ordinances the ordinances of Christ, ... In which said libel the unnamed author hath also uttered several other lyes and false accusations against the innocent, which he hath wickedly devised in the dark chamber of his imagery. Written by a lover of the truth, Robert Wastfeild
