Summary
Each letter contains pen and ink sketches concerning the subjects about which he is writing. (1) has caricatures of Joshua Reynolds, Dr. Johnson and Mrs. Thrale. (2) delineates a procession of illustrious personages from English history which passed before him in the dead of night to abuse him for "making game of them."
