However, on p. 151 the author speaks of himself living in eastern Sussex in 1662 and for several years before; there was a John Bradshaw, pastor of Etchingham, Sussex (ODNB, under William Bradshaw), who published some religious tracts in the mid-seventeenth century Liberty of conscience ...
