A few brackets and manuscript finding notes in margins of text in brown ink, some underlining and a few notes in table of contents; initial added by hand in brown ink on leaf a2r, illegible. Inscription on leaf a1v below the address of the dedicatory letter, reading "Fr. paulus austrianus stude[n]s i[n] almo [con]ue[n]tu Medilani 1512:"; ownership inscription on title page "Della libraria d[e]i p[ad]ri Capuccini di Varese"; bookstamp of Ercole Silva and autograph of Nathaniel Poyntz on front flyleaf. In a contemporary Italian binding (sheepskin?) with blind tooled borders and quadrangular ropework knot stamps in central panel bordered by headstamps; the book had been rebacked and boards had been covered with paper, now removed; inscription at bottom of back cover (shelfmark?), now uncovered, illegible; evidence of 4 ties; rebacked; in a tailored box
