"The complaint of Philomene" has title page dated 1576 on ²Y4r; "A briefe rehearsall, or rather a true copie of as much as was presented before her maiesties at Kenelworth .." (caption title) has separate register; "Certaine notes of instruction concerning the making of verse or rime in English", quires (D) and ²D P. 310 misnumbered 216; p. 317 misnumbered 217; numerous other internal misnumberings Variant: title has "Whoole workes"; many pages in variant settings. Another variant (STC 11639, Greg III, p. 1064-6([dagger])) has title "The pleasauntest workes .."
