A woman in contemporary dress in an outdoor setting, standing with body half-turned, but facing the viewer. She holds a feathered fan. Behind her is a body of water from which a fish is leaping
Inscribed in plate within image: "Faire and foolish."
Inscribed in plate beneath image: "In beauty I have share of rose and lilly, but I want breeding, and my wit is silly."
A later version of these images, reversed from what is seen here, was engraved by William Marshall. Alexander Globe suggests that the plates in this set may have been by Marshall as well (see his book on Peter Stent, p. 124, which also provides date)
