Newspaper clipping from The Illustrated London News of the picture of Mrs. Nesbett and review of her performance at the Haymarket when she "reappeared upon its boards" to an extremely enthusiastic reception. Mrs. Nesbett's second husband, Sir William Boothby, died April 21, 1846. Mrs. Nesbett reappeared at the Haymarket on April 12, 1847. She acted that evening in the role that was her greatest, Constance in The Love Chase. According to the DNB "she was noted for her beauty, dividing with Madame Vestris the empire of the town."
