In (4), Rossetti enclosed emendments for certain poems in his forthcoming book, Ballads and Sonnets, published in 1881. (5) is a draft of a sonnet "On certain Elisabethan Revivals", beginning O ruff-embastioned vast Elizabeth

Rosetti's unpublished sonnet "On certain Elisabethan Revivals" was given to Hall Caine for his Sonnets of Three Centuries, [1882], but was afterwards withdrawn. Poem listed in the Folger card index of first lines
