This genealogy, published from 1611 to 1640 (or later), had three different printers and was issued in various formats to accompany editions of the King James Bible (STC) "Cum priuilegio." This edition has the following characteristics: title page has border of type ornaments (with or without rules); block of lace-type ornaments above statement of authorship "By J S." (with swash J); title page verso marginal note has "Rab. Haca- \ dosh in his \" and "the Iew in \ Suidas on \"; p. 1, text in center of woodcut includes "diso- \ bedience many were made \". Variant states with different settings of marginal notes, headlines, and signature marks are known to exist Signatures: A-D⁴ E-F² The final two leaves contain "A description of Canaan, and the bordering countries" with a woodcut map

In this state, marginal note on title page verso reads: "aMatth. / Luke 3. 1. / bDeu.18.15. / ", and page 1, the first word of the first line of text in woodcut reads "Asby." Contemporary red velvet binding, most of the nap worn away on spine and boards; both hinges repaired; marbled endleaves; gilt edges; punched leaves of metal with crests, decorations, and small mottoes on the boards; metal clasps. Ruled in red. Bound second in a volume with the Book of common prayer (STC 16384); The holy Bible (STC 2291); and Sternhold & Hopkins Psalms (STC 2640).
