Nine autograph letters signed and one item on the Warburton family. Includes Warburton pedigree, compiled ca. 1825. In a letter to Hurd, September 24, 1755, (4), Warburton refers to the failure of John [?] Knapton, the bookseller. In another, September 23, 1769, (5), he comments on the Jubilee and Garrick's portentous ode with its one line of truth, calling Shakespeare "the God of our Idolatry."
